As you may know, Education Cannot Wait (ECW) was recently set up as a global fund for education in emergency settings. ECW has contracted the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) to support the design of the fund’s operational model and results framework. The design work will be grounded in a comparative analysis of other global funds and funding approaches, input from key stakeholders and experts, two design workshops, and a broad consultative process that gathers input from global civil society, national civil society, beneficiary country governments, and the private sector.
As part of the consultation process with all EiE stakeholders, but especially field-level actors, INEE is reaching out to you to ask for your input and suggestions to inform ECW design. BCG has assembled an overview document (English only) of the engagement and requests your input on a few key questions regarding the fund’s design. We ask that you review these materials, consult with your colleagues in country, and provide answers to the questions in the input form by 9pm (New York time), Friday, 2 December 2016.
These forms are currently available in English, Spanish, French, and Arabic.
We will also be hosting two consultation conference calls alongside BCG in the end of November and early December. We will follow up with detailed times and dial-in information within the next week.
Please let us know if you have any questions, and thank you in advance for your thoughtful input and engagement.
